In light of America’s 250th birthday this year, Curious Iguana is eager to welcome historian and author David O. Stewart to Frederick.

In addition to the History of Manchester presentation by Joe Getty, the Dutch Corner will be open for a 250th Celebration dinner.

Getty, who writes a local history column for the Northern News, will present his own research about the history of Manchester, including the attempts to build a railroad and the post-Civil War cigar industry.
