These sample itineraries show how a trip to Maryland’s Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area might take shape. Itineraries are easily customized to meet your group’s needs and interests. Whether you stay a week, or overnight, our region offers the practical advantage of a central, safe location, unparalleled in its historic importance and scenic beauty.
