The Carlotta Hays Diaries

In 1918, fifteen-year-old Carlotta Hays began writing the first of what would be two diaries. As it would turn out, 1918 would be a momentous, life-changing year for Carlotta Hays personally, and for the world. 1918 was the year the flu pandemic, known a the Spanish Flu, would sweep around the world, and find its way to the Middletown Valley. Travel back in time with this Myersville-Wolfsville Area Historical Society presentation on the diaries of Carlotta Hays, to see what life was like in the Middletown Valley during this historic time.
