Union Mills Homestead and the Historical Society of Carroll County are pleased to present a Tavern Talk on Wednesday, August 21st at 7 pm. "A Not So Splendid Little War: The Spanish American War and Harry Shriver" will be presented by Robert Ambrose and will tell the misadventures of a son of Carroll County, Harry Shriver, and shed light on a forgotten conflict: The Spanish/American War.
Registration is required. There is a $15 fee that will support our sites and cover lite refreshments.
