FY25 Mini-Grant Application
Read before you begin: You will not be able to save your answers to complete this FY25 Mini-Grant application at a later date.
Remember to review the Strategic Plan and the Heritage Area Management Plan before you complete the application narrative. Save the application document on your computer/server and then upload it with your application.
Guidelines: Keep in mind that mini-grants must be matched 1:1 with non-state funding. You may use any combination of cash and in-kind support to match your mini-grant. The cap on in-kind match has been removed. No part of your match can be derived from state funds.
You should be able to provide the following materials upon request: IRS letter of determination, bylaws and articles of incorporation (if a nonprofit organization), link to Comprehensive Plan (if a government unit), and your latest financial statement.
Once you have submitted your application you should receive a confirmation email from info@heartofthecivilwar.org with the subject line, "Your application has been submitted to the Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area." If you do not receive this confirmation email, your application has not been successfully submitted. Contact emily@heartofthecivilwar.org if you have persistent problems with submission.
