Demystifying Linseed Oil Paint

Join the Washington County Historical Trust at the historic Saylor House for a one-day, hands-on training in surface preparation and the proper application of linseed oil paint. Participants work directly with the material to understand substrate readiness, thin-coat application techniques, and finishing methods, gaining practical confidence in using linseed oil paint from first coat through final finish. On September 26, you are invited to an optional day to practice your newly acquired skills as part of the Saylor House restoration.
