Carroll 250 Event: What a Revolution! A Dress in Two Days – Day 2

Visit the Historical Society of Carroll County and engage with mantua makers, milliners and seamstresses as they create an 18th-century gown, influenced by a portrait of Mrs. Mordecai Gist, attributed to Charles Wilson Peale.

Dressed in 18th century clothing, the ladies will be reproducing a stylish silk sacque back gown, to be displayed in July. Event runs from 10 am – 3 pm This is a free event. No registration is required.
