Juneteenth
June 19 @ 10:00 am

This Juneteenth celebration will include live music, readings, and historical context relevant to this historic Black cemetery. Attendees will have an opportunity to join in the reading of the names of those buried in the cemetery who were born during the slavery era. The cemetery includes 15 Civil War veterans, some of whom had been enslaved before enlisting, and one World War I veteran. Please note the site has uneven ground and trip hazards.
