Author Curtis Older will present a review of the Fox Family of Fox’s Gap, “Hood’s Defeat Near Fox’s Gap,” “The Land Tracts of the Battlefield of South Mountain,” and “The Braddock Expedition and Fox’s Gap in Maryland.” Curtis Older is a descendant of the Fox family that lived at Fox’s Gap and has lots of interesting historical and genealogical information on that family. Curtis will guide those who want to walk the Appalachian Trail to Fox’s Gap from Turner’s Gap that day.
Autographed copies of “Hood’s Defeat Near Fox’s Gap,” “The Land Tracts of the Battlefield of South Mountain,” and “The Braddock Expedition and Fox’s Gap in Maryland” will be available. This event is FREE. First eight attendees receive choice of two free books.
